In re Adoption of E.H.L.

IN THE SUPREME COURT STATE OF NORTH DAKOTA

February 3, 2009

IN THE MATTER OF THE ADOPTION OF E.H.L., A MINOR CHILD
D.R.K. AND P.E.K., PETITIONERS AND APPELLEES
v.
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, NORTH DAKOTA DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES, AND K.L.K., RESPONDENTS AND T.A.A., RESPONDENT AND APPELLANT

Appeal from the District Court of Richland County, Southeast Judicial District, the Honorable Daniel D. Narum, Judge.

Per curiam.

AFFIRMED.

[¶1] T.A.A. appeals the district court's judgment terminating his parental rights and granting D.R.K. and P.E.K.'s petition to adopt his daughter, E.H.L. T.A.A. argues the district court erred in finding he abandoned the child because he had tried to establish a relationship with the child, but D.R.K. and P.E.K. prevented him from seeing the child.

[¶2] The district court's judgment is affirmed under N.D.R.App.P. 35.1(a)(2).
